Entry Information

    Requirements of all applicants to the program

            1.1 General Qualifications

                        (1) Completion of further Mathayom (secondary) school education, or equivalent.

Certification must be endorsed by the Thai Ministry of Education.

                        (2) Has a clean bill of health.

                        (3) Has not committed crime or has not been punished regarding illegal manners

                        (4) Legally reside in Thailand.

 

            1.2 Specific qualifications

                        (1) Thai students graduated from Thai School or equivalent must meet the following requirements:

                        -  Completion of secondary school education or equivalent

                        - Attainment of an average score of at least 2.50 or equivalent in further Mathayom education.

                        - An English proficiency test score of one of the following types within 2 years up to the date of application:

                              — A minimum academic IELTS score of 6.0, or

                              — A minimum TOEFL IBT (internet-based test) score of at least 61, or

                              — A TU-GET score of at least 500, or

                              — A minimum SAT score (comprising 3 parts: math, critical                                              

                                  reading and writing) of 1100, a minimum new SAT score                           

                                  (evidence-based reading and writing) of 400

 

                        (2)  Thai students graduated from abroad or international schools in
Thailand or  
International students must meet the following requirements:

                        -  Completion of secondary school education or equivalent

                        - The attainment of an average score of at least 2.50 or equivalent in
further Mathayom education, or equivalents e.g. GCE, GCSE, IGCSE, IB and GED. 
The following conditions shall be applied:

                              1) Applicants with GCE, GCSE or IGSCE results must have
passed at least 5 different subjects with a minimum grade of C. **From 2017
onwards
, applicants with GCE, GCSE or IGSCE results must have passed at least
5 different subjects with a minimum grade of C and passed GCE 'AS' at least 3
different subjects with a minimum grade of C OR GCE 'A' level at least 3 different
subjects with a minimum grade of C.

                              2) Applicants with IB results must have passed at least 5 different                                            
subjects with a minimum grade of 4.

3) Applicants with GED results must have passed at least 5 different subjects with a minimum score of 500. Applicant with NEW GED result must passed 4 different subjects with a minimum score of 160. Applicants must also submit an official high school transcript of grade 10 and 11.                                       

4) Applicants graduated from New Zealand must got NCEA level 2 at least 80 credits
(at least 60 credits at level 2 or higher, the remaining 20 credits can be from level 1,2 or 3)                                      

                              5) Applicants whose educational institutions have not yet calculated their average scores for further secondary education must report their results, transcripts and other evidence of  studies to the program officers as proof of completion.

                  - An English proficiency test score of one of the following types within
                           2 years up to the date of application:

Selection criteria

            Selection criteria consist of 2 parts listed below :

            (1) An English-language written examination testing knowledge 2 subjects:
Basic Knowledge of Mass Communication and current affairs

            (2) English-Language Interview

 

Tuition Fees

Thai Students: approximately 134,000 Thai Bahts per year or 510,000 Thai Bahts for the whole program

Foreign Students: approximately 153,100 Thai Bahts per yeat or 590,000 Thai Bahts for the whole program
